Program Overview

The San Joaquin County Resource Conservation District (SJCRCD) Noxious Weeds Program helps local growers manage and treat qualifying noxious weeds along roadsides and agricultural areas within San Joaquin County. Through this program, eligible participants may receive reimbursement for approved weed treatment activities that support effective weed control and protect surrounding land and infrastructure.
SJCRCD serves as a local partner overseeing the program, helping coordinate treatment efforts and ensure program requirements are met while working alongside growers and licensed applicators.
What the Program Does

This program supports the treatment of CDFA-listed noxious weeds in areas where weed growth poses risks to agriculture, transportation corridors, and surrounding properties. By encouraging timely and effective treatment, the program helps reduce the spread of invasive weeds and supports long-term land stewardship.
Eligible participants can apply for reimbursement for approved treatment costs, helping offset expenses associated with managing noxious weeds in designated areas of San Joaquin County.
